Lenses and Laughter: A Fabrication Mishap

The other day in the lab, we accidentally ordered a batch of trifocal lenses with the wrong curvature. It was like we were trying to create a new trend in eyewear — glasses that made you look sideways all the time! It’s important to keep quality control tight, but sometimes our mistakes turn into the best stories. Anyone else have funny lens fabrication blunders to share?

those funky trifocals really do lead to some wild looks! I once had clients who thought their new lenses were possessed because they couldn’t figure out why they kept tilting their heads. It’s funny to laugh about now, but we always need to double-check our specs before sending them out.
